Barnstaple and Pilton Cricket Club was founded in 1993 with the amalgamation of Barnstaple CC and Pilton CC. The club has to grown to be one of the biggest and most successful in North Devon. The club currently has it’s 1st XI in Division C and it’s 2nd XI in Division D of their respective competitions in the Francis Clark Devon League. We also have two teams playing in the Stay in Devon North Devon League.

We consider ourselves to be a leading community cricket club, which is why we are designated as a Focus Club by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This means that we are at the hub of the community network for cricket development, particularly for the benefit of children and young people. This is demonstrated by our thriving and popular Colts section, with children from 7 to 15 receiving professional coaching from a dedicated team of ECB qualified coaches.

The club moved to its new location of Raleigh Meadow in 2004 from the old Pottington Road Ground. The picturesque Raleigh Meadow ground is situated in the Yeo Valley area of Barnstaple. The new facility includes a 12 pitch square, non-turf pitch, three practice nets, electronic score board and large clubhouse with bar.
